Suppose u are a bold woman, but the husband is dominating and would beat if his orders are not taken, what will happen? Suppose a man is good natured but his wife is a shrew? What will happen? The better of the two comes down, however self -respecting, in order to buy peace. Otherwise, both fight and create problems for each other, then part. That's why I said like that.
Most relationships work on adjustments. a few are lucky ones , are given the freedom to nurture self-respect. The others respect the spouse and ......period/

I don't agree with you. Being married , we can be individual and also respect the individualism of our spouse. Only when we are meek and submit to the dominance of the spouse, the home becomes hell.

Hi Radhika,
As long as u don't get married, u are ur own boss. And it applies both ways.

Beautiful and touching story!!Yes destiny has its say..imagine if her husband was  not a govt.officer and  was working  in  some pvt company, she would have been struggling for the job...I know many such cases.
