At the sea-side
Unending shoreline
Never ending waves
Sweep through the sands
Reaching for the unknown,
Far on the horizon
There is a ship
Fast disappearing
First its deck
Then hull and sail
Small fishing boats bob
Desperate for a catch,
The gulls soar high
Eying the fishes
That strays to the surface
The sea murmurs
With a sigh of anguish
It can clean the shores
But not people’s sins,
That pollutes its waters,
Its underwater life
And the golden beaches
Threatening its
Very existence.
And when this anguish
Turn into anger
The gentle waves
Turn into giant Tsunami
Defining the death.
