Thanks for the tips. I also write a lot. But somehow my forte seems to be non fiction. I do write fiction, but I enjoy the research and thought that goes into writing a feature. The one thing I really enjoy however is writing for children.

Great blog again! Writing from one's own experience....definitely helps. Personally i find it difficult to write totally about my experience but yes i do tend to weave it in my stories....thanks for the tips....

Nice blog.  Also I believe that writing down your personal experiences gives you a new perspective on them.  You can observe them objectively and learn from them better.

It is a therapy of sorts.

How true! Penning feelings is the best way to express. Things that happen to ourselves certaily make good write ups but since it is natural to have feelings when things happen to others to, we may as well write about that. Good writing, cheers

Fiction writing is the creation of a world we want to live in. When the readers identify with the incidences narrated in it, they feel relaxed, entertained.

very interesting and informative. I find it very difficult to insert dialogues into my stories...Third person or first person  reported speech comes most easily to me. i wish to try out other perspectives like in the present continous and interspersing dialogues.
