You are the man’s
First imagination
To answer all the qualms
And all the whys and hows
About phenomena unknown.
To ask for favors
To overcome difficulties
For celebrations and festivities
To undertake pilgrimages
In search of you.
You are the reason
And a weapon
For a few to wield
Power and influence
To intimidate others
Some seek their livelihood
Donning the robes of priest
Conducting elaborate rituals
To appease you
And prosper self.
Some spend their life
In search of you almighty
Some ponder deep into
Religion, faith and philosophy
To become the enlightened.
People ought to give a thought
To the universal message
That to love and serve your creation,
The weak and the suffering
Is the essence of their existence?

This happens only because we follow some traditions blindly: say, we have accepted the tradition that makes a prist's son the next prist. A religious place is not a dynastic rulers' place. But we accept it, and due to this those who have nothing to do with religiousness become the administrators of the same. They spoil the whole religion.
